You know Halloween is around the corner when you see billing for the movie cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
On Friday, October 25, at the St. George Theatre in St. George in Staten Island, there will a viewing of the unforgettable movie, which is celebrating its 44th-year anniversary.
Sure, you probably can watch it online somewhere, but attending a movie screening in person is an unbelievable experience.
As an added trick or treat, The Flesh Junkies, which describes itself as a zombie punk cabaret band, will be playing a pre-show concert at 9:00 p.m. for its loyal ghouls and goblins, using classic punk, glam, and rock tunes to demonstrate its offbeat persona while spooking new fans into loving the brain-eating group.
Participate in a costume contest and dance “The Time Warp” before the movie at 10:15 p.m.
Prop bag included with admission while supplies last. The show is $25.00 bucks via Ticketmaster.
The St. George Theater is located at 35 Hyatt St, just a stone’s throw away from the Staten Island Ferry.
